One of the most innovative cannabis companies in the industry, 1906, rolls out an exciting new line of low-dose, functional high cannabis products that can be an alternative to mainstream prescription medicine for six ailments.

Americans Feels Today’s Society Is Overprescribed

1906’s path to discover their new product, 1906 Drops, was through consumer surveying and research.1 During the last two decades, the total number of prescription medicine filled for adults and children in America has increased by 85%.2 That’s no surprise with the current opioid crisis plaguing America. 52% of the people surveyed take two or more prescription drugs per week. 72% take at least one over-the-counter (OTC) drugs per week. People might be taking prescription and OTC medication to treat anxiety, sleep disorders, sexual arousal, tiredness, and more.

The surveyed group reported having trouble sleeping during the past month or more. Nearly 80% of women and 71% of men had trouble sleeping at least once during the past month. 49% of men have taken prescription medication or OTC sleep aids. While 40% of women have taken sleeping pills to help them sleep.

Anxiety is another common issue among American adults. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness affecting Americans. It affects 18 million Americans adults (age 18 and over). That is 18.1% of the total population.3 Half of the survey respondents said they are interested in trying small doses of cannabis supplements to reduce anxiety.

An Alternative To Prescription Medication

The most interesting insight from their study shows over 80% of respondents are interested in trying supplements and medication containing THC and CBD or cannabis herb if it had therapeutic value. As a result, 1906 developed Drops to help with six ailments. 1906 Drops can help promote cognitive performance, relaxation, energy, happiness, sexual desire, and sleep.

Low-Dose, Functional Highs Cannabis Doses

To achieve these effects, 1906 utilizes a variety of strains of THC and CBD. Their Go Drops for Energy has added caffeine and three other plant medicines to help give you a boast. 1906 Drops contains from 2.5 milligrams up to 5 milligrams of THC and CBD. The Chill Drops for Relaxation has 25 milligrams of CBD. Although doses are very low, double-check to see if you have any drug interactions with cannabis.

1906 Drops are different from the traditional edibles. Traditional edibles can take up to 90 minutes to feel the effects, which can lead to overdosing. 1906 Drops utilizes lipid micro-encapsulation that allows an exceptionally fast absorption onset time. Drops take 20 minutes or less to activate. Drops are portable, vegan, gluten-free, zero calories and optimal remedies for health-conscious adults without the side effects of pharmaceuticals.

The survey included 1,042 total responses (n=1,042) from a nationally representative sample. The confidence level for the survey is 95 percent with a confidence interval of ±3.04. 48.09 percent (n=501) of respondents were male and 51.91 percent (n=541) were female. All respondents are 18 years old and over. For a full demographic breakdown, refer to the appendix. Limitations: This study only included participants in the United States; therefore, the results may not be transferable to other populations due to cultural differences. This study, conducted in mid-September 2019, was distributed online; consequently, it may not be representative of people who do not have an internet connection.
